2010 Annapolis Book FestivalNow in its eighth year, the Annapolis Book Festival will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 10 am to 4 pm. The 2010 festival features nationally and regionally renowned authors of both fiction and non-fiction. The festival is free and open to the public, and will be held on the campus of The Key School at 534 Hillsmere Drive in Annapolis, Maryland. The Annapolis Book Festival promotes and celebrates reading among people of all ages and interests and fosters a love of literacy and learning in Anne Arundel County. The Annapolis Book Festival is hosted by the The Key School Parents’ Association and held on the campus of The Key School in Annapolis, Maryland. It is free and open to the public and underwritten by sponsors from our community. The 2010 Annapolis Book Festival will include a panel of Mark Twain specialists in tribute to the national celebration of the 100th anniversary of the great writer's death. The Festival will include book signings by featured authors, educational and fun children’s activities and family performances by musicians and entertainers, new and used book sales, storytellers, artists, a silent auction of storybook-inspired furniture, and refreshments.
